INTERNETSPEED PULSE · HELP

Get back to a clear result.

A practical checklist for running tests, diagnosing errors and managing local results.

Before testing

Pause downloads, streaming and backups, keep this tab in the foreground and choose a measurement server. Use Ethernet for a baseline if possible. This sustained test can use hundreds of MB or several GB, depending on speed. Data charges may apply.

If a measurement fails

Try the second server and check whether a content blocker or VPN is blocking test requests. Each direction samples for twelve seconds after warm-up, with a 75-second overall timeout. Stopped or failed runs are partial and are not added to history.

If connection details are unavailable

Local previews do not receive production edge metadata. On the live site, missing fields can also result from a hosting limitation or network routing. The interface shows unavailable instead of guessing your provider. The speed test still works without these details.

Saving and downloading results

Enable Remember results before running a complete test to add it to local history. Download CSV on the test exports the current completed result. The Results history page can export all saved results. The header’s Download menu links to that page and offers browser printing.

Settings and accessibility

Choose a light or dark theme, Mbps or MB/s, and English or Arabic test controls. All controls work with a keyboard. Press Escape to close the menu or server dialog. Your preferences are stored on this device.
